Don's Model Works is your fast, reliable source for quality model aircraft kits, books related to aircraft and model-building, and tools, glues, and other needed supplies for model-building. Our model aircraft kits include the complete line of Wings Models (including former Eagles Talon kits), plus many rare and hard-to-find aircraft model kits from other model companies, including foreign-made kits and out-of-production kits.
Most Wings Models kits were formerly produced by Wings 72, Wings 48, or Eagles Talon. Wings Models, LLC, is now the owner of all molds, decals, parts, and inventory of these model companies, and the kits are produced from the original molds with the same attention to detail and quality that modelers expect in a Wings or Eagles Talon model kit. Most Wings Models kits are vacuum-formed from white styrene plastic, using concave (cavity) molds for maximum detail of surface features such as panel lines, although some kits are produced entirely in cast resin. Most kits include historical information and illustrations to help you properly detail your model. Many kits include excellent decal sheets and metal or cast resin detail parts such as props, engines, wheels, exhausts, guns, etc. (See individual kit descriptions for specifics.) The Wings Models product line features a wide variety of aircraft in 1/48 and 1/72 scale, ranging from biplanes to modern jets, with extensive coverage of x-planes and other experimental aircraft. One very popular kit isn't even an aircraft; it is a 1:72 scale Imperial Japanese Two-Man Submarine that was used in the attack on Pearl Harbor.

These include injection-molded, resin, vacuform, and mixed media kits from many different manufacturers, including rare, hard-to-find, foreign-made, and out-of-production kits. Check individual item descriptions for kit and box condition; most are new, but some are quite old. To better meet the needs of our model kit customers, we are now adding selected books to our inventory. These include historical books about various aircraft, color guides to help you paint your kit with the correct paints, aircraft reference encyclopedias, and "how-to-do-it" books on model building techniques. The common factor is that these are books that will help you, our customers, add more authentic detail to the models you build. Among the series of books that we stock are many of the Squadron "In Action" series, and the "Naval Fighters" and "Air Force Legends" series from Ginter Books, and many more.
